The magnificent dragons of the ancient world are no more,
At the turn of Middle Earth, when empires began to clash,
These creatures of myth were hunted and captured,
for use as beasts of war...
But the dragons could not be easily forced into service,
So they were tortured...
Until all that was left of their intelligence was an animal-like cruelty,
Until their proud forms were bent and twisted,
Until the flame that belched from their gaping mouths turned to ash and dust,
And their scales and hearts were burnt black like obsidian...

Just made up a little story for this guy. He is seriously awesome, *and my new deviant ID*

Medium: 0.5mm Mechanical pencil on 8.5/11 paper (nothing special)
Time: A little over a week of meticulous detail work.
